After that we wandered on down to Chicago's famous Navy Pier to watch the sunset, ride on the Ferris Wheel and also try and stay awake till 9.30 to watch the fireworks which only take place on Wednesday and Saturday. Alas we couldn't make it to the fireworks as we were just too tired but we managed to capture a lovely sunset behind Chicago's famous skyline.....
Bad start to an amazing travel journey ahead. I packed a small bag that included all my camera equipment. From lenses to pouches and extra memory cards and macro rings. But I forgot my camera's battery charger. Stupid right? I know..Was really upset with what I had done but Radio shack had the solution with their universal charger that did the trick.

The bus driver drove like he was playing a racing game. Lots of hard last minute breaking. Not the best conditions for a snooze. People got off the bus at various points but noone really got on. Eventually we got to London (having already been through Paris and Windsor) just after one. Two hours till my next bus.
