just so you know my timetable for an average day at camp;
- wake up at 7:00, shout at the kids to get them all in the showers, make their beds and get changed. then go in the shower myself because the showers are cold first thing in the morning and by the time all the campers have been in, the water is nice and warm.

Another early start this morning to try and beat some of the traffic travelling on the roads on Memorial Day and we also have a 3 1/2 hour drive ahead of us. We drove to Corning, about an hour from Ithaca and stopped to have a look at the Corning Glass Museum. A little slow starting this morning - it was cold and drizzling outside anyway.
Left the the hotel late morning and decided to drive around Cayuga Lake - one of the Finger Lakes. We drove up the east side - this whole area is very popular with New Yorkers who have summer houses up here. Some of the houses are just gorgeous.
