    Salute to Henry Ford

A travel blog entry by carmandy on Oct 14, 2014

After a rather interesting breakfast we headed out to the Henry Ford Museum - which is much more than just a car museum. There were trains, planes, of course automobiles. Madden (aged 3) calls me "Gravy". They are cute cute cute. Madden accused Glen of "breaking his head off". They both snuggle into me and I just melt. We had a "cookout" tonight. It's a BBQ. I actually ate a sausage. It was so good - Italian and contained meat as opposed to ...

    Empty city full of soul

... The streets were almost empty, despite the fact that we were in the heart of downtown and it was a Monday lunchtime. It was apparent though how hard the are trying to fix the city; the beautifully renovated Guardian Building one example, and Justin Timberlake blaring out of speakers mounted on the outside of Chase Bank another. Unfortunately the Ford museum wasn't open the days we were there, so the only place we really wanted to visit was the Museum of Motown. This is ...
