    ... in a quaint rural town early afternoon and went for a long walk around town. We're in a national parks area called1000 Islands, very picturesque.
    By the way, they have a modern Casino, so that where we had dinner, and a small bet or two.
    Tomorrow it's off to Montreal for a few days via the scenic route.
    Fran's ankle is getting better each day and is back to its normal size.

    It was a long day in the car - 11 hours cramped with the dogs - and always a 50 pound lapdog on me...but we were in good spirits....until we got to Watertown NY....where the hotels were scary and dirty....we finally found on that was sooooo old...but it worked.
