    We arrived at the Detroit Airport at about 6:30 pm, got checked in, and they gave me a hard time about getting my boarding pass for the Paris to Lyon leg.     It is called the Heidelberg Project,named after the street that the art decorates. Like everything Detroit, there is no cohesion with the vision and the city continues to bulldoze the houses and local criminals light them on fire...this despite it now being a fairly major tourist attraction?

    ... me too much. They did have some intimidating Tiger statues but it lacked that certain something that most of the other Parks have had. Perhaps it was because most of the ticket takers and concessions people seemed absolutely miserable or maybe it was due to the worry in the back of our heads that our car was going to come completely apart on the drive back afterwards.

    We arrived at 4:00 pm, plenty early we thought, to get good seats. When we got to the window, the ticket clerk said the game was almost sold out and all that was available was obstructed view seats in the nose-bleed section. While we tried to absorb this news, two field level tickets were released and we got them. Score! Comerica park is in Detroit's theater district, so we walked ...
