... impressive. It started raining at about 11 and didn't really stop for the rest of the day. This did mean that the park was quite empty, so we didn't have to queue for long on any of the rides, but after the water rides (where you get absolutely drenched!) we didn't dry off all day. I was suffering the effects of drinking quite a lot of water through the day at just the wrong time: we had to queue for a while for the log flume, then I held up the ride when I couldn't get in ...
... and autographs with Ariel, Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty/Aurora and, of course, Cinderella. The food was pretty good too; there were appetizers, the main course and dessert. If you want to do this, it's a good idea to book as early as you can, which is 6 months in advance, as it fills up fast.
Before we left the park we saw the beautiful Main Street Electrical Parade. All the floats are decorated with hundreds of lights, and I'd rate this parade as one of the must-sees.
... show One Ocean. Ollie was very happy to find that he could slurp on a grape slushy while he watched which made it all the more enjoyable for him! I have to say that it was not the best of the Shamu shows that I had ever seen but it was still a great watch none the less. They are such huge creatures so it really is lovely to see them leaping and moving so gracefully in the water. It is also always fun to watch the poor people getting soaked in the splash ...
... got us belting out some patriotic songs and show tunes that were then stuck in my head for days! (a totally scary place to be!) But we sang (Caroled) and Bob was entranced by the Brag Book (of pictures) Carol had put together for the visit. But then, Carol makes everything fun.
It was just what the Doctor ordered! ...
