          ... flight means I will get home c 2100 and can contemplate bed.

          Out for a quick walk to gauge the temperature. Two things I will not miss about China are the smog and the percentage of smokers though the latter is more of a male thing. Maybe overlanding attracts smokers as the percentage was way higher than recent trips.

          How has the food been? Expectedly over almost 40 days it has varied from delicious to blah, the latter due to greasiness ...

          ... had aerosol sprays in their carry on luggage: Mr and Mrs Dumbo.

          Forgot to mention my Aeroplan so will try to do at the gate desk. Found a Jamaican java place [1.7E] for my final cafe con leche on European soil. Wifi was good to send off yesterday's short blog. Two lardasses at another table should not be eatingcream-filled pastries. Another table featured two small brats taking turns crying, seeking attention.

          ... with no plan B. Plane now near the gate so I am a bit of a happy camper. The f*****g wifi would not work which is annoying.

          The gal on the gate desk was not having much luck stopping people from milling near the gate in advance of a boarding call. Humour did not work ie it was a full plane and nobody would be left behind + only come forward re boarding with kids if they are your kids.

          Air Canada is getting cheap, ...
