    While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. That's all for now. Sorry if you found this post boring, but sometimes you just gotta gloat. Love you ...

    ... opportunity to sit down individually with Lori and Deona, who told me a bit more about my role in particular. It was such a valuable meeting. We didn't necessarily have to be face to face to figure out the logistics but the fact that they did take the time to fly out here and sit down with me and just chat about any and every question I may have, tells me everything I need to know about what the next 6 months of my traineeship will look like. ...

    ... often the 'real life', from the inside out, of the places where I was. Without this network my experience wouldn't be comparable, and I am so so thankful for what it added!!

    The ride has been amazing. I learned a lot. I laughed a lot. I doubted a lot. I saw, felt, heard, tasted a ton. It was an adventure. And it's not over yet.

    Goodbye South America, I'll be back.

    ... waitress aka the first-class flight attendant. Your hearing me right, I not only enjoyed one glass of OJ out of a real glass, but two. What a flight. Thanks again Biju, for one of the best first-class experiences ever.
