... our hotel. They refused to use the metered rates. Finally, a female driver pulled up and examined the name and address of our hotel written in Chinese in the LP. She nodded okay and didn’t try to pull any of the shena****ns that the men taxi drivers did. She put the meter on and took us directly to our hostel for less than $2.

Tôt le matin nous nous sommes dirigés vers le cimetière qui est dans une montagne pour aller célébrer une tradition chinoise qui consiste à visiter les morts de la famille et leur apporter ce dont ils auront besoin pour passer l'hiver: nourriture, vêtements, alcool, cigarettes, fleure, argent et même la presse!

Nous avons participé à la célébration avec la famille de Yin Yin ...

À la suite de cette visite nous avons du aller visiter le marcher pour trouver des vêtements chauds, le froid s'installe définitivement dans ce coin du pays!

J'arrête là et tente de reprendre le retard accumullé! Pendant mon séjour à Xining j'ai plus olontiers passé mes soirées à discuter avec Eric qu'à vous donner des nouvelles! Vous comprendrez j'espère!

... Titanic theme got a good butchering! Not what I expected from a birthday in Tibet but it was unforgettable for sure.
