Definitely worth the visit, and the coldness...

... down the hills, we finally settled on a slightly outward hill...it's only 3:30pm and the sun is already preparing for the day-off......Point to note for the sunset fans, you gotta start early for that in Qing Dao. By 4:30pm the whole sunset process is done and we went for some city sightseeing, christmas trees and decos are all around already, nice lights there.

... the leganary Eight Immortals crossed the sea. Thirdly, it's where 2 rivers joins.

For me, I knew it from a local singer-song-writer (Sam Hui) 's song apart from the above.

Ni hao my friends, We arrived in Qingdao far too early for my taste, around 6 am, but luckily Tian Tao, another HC member, picked me up from the busy station and we got a taxi back to his place. He lives with his wife and his 13-year old son in a small but nice apartment. ... we got on the bus and went to a hotel for lunch .When I went on the trip I didn't even know that we were getting lunch at all, let alone a fancy lunch. When we got out there were probably 20 people there to meet us, a bunch of women in kimonos and then men in business suits. It turned out that one of the men was the mayor who came to have lunch with us! We took an elevator upstairs and there was this big room with probably 30 or 40 seats on the ground with tray tables that were like a ...

... that there was a secluded section of the wall that was the best to go to. All we had was the name written in English of the section of the wall and no idea where to go to get a ride. We went out into the street and walked into several stores asking for help and information, or just anyone that spoke English. I was surprised by how little English anybody spoke in such a large city. Finally we just got in a cab and I pointed to the word bus station on my Chinese translation ...
