The five star hotel in Qingdao was right on the beach, with great views of both the mountains and the sea. Today we had a delightful day in Qingdao, China. Qingdao is beautiful coastal city with an interesting history. The city is sometimes referred to as the Switzerland of the east because it is surrounded by water on three sides and beautiful green hills on the other. It has a population of over 8 million and is a popular tourist attraction for the Chinese and Korean's due to its beaches and mild climate.

An average week’s consumption will include over 18,000 eggs, 16,000 lbs of meat, poultry and seafood, 12,500 lbs of vegetables and 2,000+ bottles of wine and champagne.
