    ... seafood is the speciality in Qingdao (and beer, Tsingtao!- but thats another story!). I tried oysters, muscles, clams, cockles, sea snails, octopus, and loved all of them, who knew i wasn't that fussy after all! Managed to spend couple days sight seeing before starting work, Qingdao is very pleasant, it is the home of Tsingtao beer, and it is sold everywhere. There is a street called Beer street, where you can buy a BAG of beer for 30Yuan, ...

    ... are 125 service staff (waiters, sommeliers, etc). They are all trying to keep the 1,300 passengers happy and they succeed! An average week’s consumption will include over 18,000 eggs, 16,000 lbs of meat, poultry and seafood, 12,500 lbs of vegetables and 2,000+ bottles of wine and champagne. Quite the grocery shopping list! We are doing our best to eat and drink our fair share.
