We left sunny Shanghai and travelled along the freeway for a few hours to reach the ancient historical capital of Hangzhou, one of 8 capitals in China's history and the home of our sister school, No14 Hangzhou Middle School.

We arrived and were invited to join the senior students celebrate International Day in the school Gym. The students ...

Hangzhou isn't much of a wintery place really as most of the activities are based around the lake. We attempted to walk around it on my birthday but got soaked through so went to a silk museum instead. I told you it was three wet and wild girls let loose in China...We made up for the ****** weather by going for some real nice food at a restaurant called Grean Tea restaurant though. ...

... altercation with the shopkeeper. I’m not sure what was said, but feelings were hurt and my friends left very angry, so that’s not very smart business acumen.

After we left Keyan, we went to a local winery to sample some of the local wine (hua diao, a type of yellow wine). I was looking forward to this, but was greatly disappointed. I was hoping for a tour of the facilities and the production process. What I ...
