Our first driver Steeven took us to the red theatre for the Kung Fu show - he didn't even expect to be paid?!? We were early - we'll just hit the bar as you expect in a theatre - nope just some souvenirs and a small kiosk for crisps and juice - oh and beer!!! Exploring the hutong

... was named a hutong. In fact, Beijing hutongs range from 40 centimeter to 10 meter wide. The longest has more than 20 turns.

Beijing hutongs are varied: in east-west or north-south direction, sloped, half or "blind hutongs", or cul-de-sacs.

The gray-tiled houses and alleys crossing with each other in identical appearance are like a maze, it is fun to walk through them but be careful not to get lost.

Not only is he a massive help an the class room but he has also helped us out with none school things. Top lad by all accounts and probably the most over experienced TA ever in the world. ... is REALLY no fat people in Asia. No fat people but then again, when it takes you probably 20 minutes to walk one city block, it's no wonder why. And you're constantly drinking water, people don't believe in rich deserts like cake (or cinnabuns) we we eat fruit for dessert, and in a hot climate, you're not as hungry.

Going to sleep now - I'm exhausted. What a trip coming here!
