    ... the lone gas station to get a drink because I had run out long long ago. I started to get a little discouraged because I had no idea how much further down the road Zili village was, but I kept walking anyway and finally found the turn off.

    From the highway, it's still a further walk to get to the front gate. I realized why no one comes to this place.

    ... of the diaolou and most of them don’t look that great. But one of them really stands out: the Lin family Diaolou. The inside is just untouched. It just seems like people were living here few month ago but all the furniture/pictures are from another century. It was amazing! This was my favourite of the day.

    ... restaurant in Jiangmen. We found out today, that he selected the restaurant specifically because he wasn't sure if we would like the local food. Mr. Guan spoke a little english, but fortunately our guide was invited to dinner too, so acted as an interpreter. His son, "Jerry" (English name), also spoke english and was very eager to try out his language skills on us.
