... guy come up to us. This time I waited until I got him down to 10 Yuan.
I had a great time seeing the Warriors. This will be something I will always remember.
We went to lunch at a buffet. It was ok not everyone liked it.
After lunch we went to the Xian Museum. There were a lot of artifacts in the museum. We spent 90 minutes in the museum. Then we went back to the hotel. A few of us wanted to find the Muslim Market. We found it this time. It was busy but we did ...
... was leaving one of the Chinese guys began talking and there was the owner of the thick Aussie accent. In the next hall we introduced ourselves and found out we were both from Melbourne. That would make us the two coolest guys in Xian right! Ha Ha Ha Ha! Aunty was trying her best to persuade him to stay in China and to teach English to help him also work on his Chinese which from ...
Xian, China eddakath... chaos... We were told to go to stand 5... so we did... but there was no sign to show which bus was going where... even in Mandarin (we had the Chinese for Shanghai memorised!). So we tried to go through gate 5 and were pointed towards gate 6... then tried there and were sent to gate 5... then a nice man who spoke a few works of English and who looked very concerned that we might miss our bus, came and told us to go to number 4... this went on ...
Xi'an, Shaanxi, China you_know_zo... Wong Cheng, there are sloped horse passages leading to the top of the city wall. Initially, the wall was built with layers of dirt, with the base layer including also lime and glutinous rice extract. Throughout the time Xian City Wall has been restored three times. In 1568, Zhang Zhi (the government officer of that period) was in charge to rebuild the wall with ...

Xi'an, Shaanxi, China nikkiviper... made the experience much more interesting). The smooth peaks stick straight up out of the adjacent plain and are bounded by steep, deep gorges. The rock is also very, very hard. As a result, to get to the top the chinese had to cut stairways directly into the rock by hand. There are thousands and thousands of steps, in some places vertical, where you had to cling to iron chains for balance. This got especially nerve racking near the icy ...
Hua Shan, China jacketdave... huge polluted city, which is so international in some ways, big shopping malls with international brands, and McDonalds and KFC on every corner, and then has some great little local and laid back markets. Just round the corner from the hostel we found a great little small booth which was selling duck pancakes (the best I've had) for 2yuan each - about 11p!! Now this i why I'm loving China!!! Headed back to ...
