... point of the night we saw a drag queen! This was a big bloke wearing a long blonde wig, blue PVC tutu dress and fluffy boots. He looked just like Matt Lucas. He walked past and you could see the shock in everyone's face! We decided to follow... We were following this guy for about 10 minutes filming him and watching people run up to him and peoples shocked reactions. Eventually when the guy went to jump on a taxi bike, Danielle ran up to him and ...

... it a draw and I paid her 250 Bht. After all that bliss (!?), we walked along Chaweng beach in search of cocktails and food. Up early to find if there are any hostels with available beds, and guess what? They're all full. I kind of expected it, but it's always worth a shot. So it was back to our hostel, jump on mopeds and fly down to Monkey Samui to see what is actually going on with all these rumours, and most importantly to see if The place is actually open. Racing north of the island we soon arrived to see a fresh printed Monkey Samui sign outside the ...

... in certain places when there were so many other paths that could have been taken. Without sounding overly dramatic the sequence of events that played out on that island may have have actually saved my life. I toyed with the idea of leaving my backpack on the boat and just wearing my trainers to the island, but I didn't really want to get them wet, so I decided to carry my trainers in my backpack and wear my flip flops in the smaller boat to the island. Once on the island, ...
