... socialising and catching up with each other. The people we have spoken to are really friendly and have a good chat to you. The elderly ladies in the street usually give you a big smile and say 'Kalimera'.

We took the little red car and headed off South to look at some temple ruins and some of the beaches. Demeter's Temple ruins were from 500BC with an amazing backdrop of mountains.

Naxos Island is the largest island in the Cyclades Group.
It is the most fertile and self-sufficient and is known for its cheese. We bought some today called Graviera and it has a lovely flavour.

We all made friends in Naxos. We spent a couple of days with a family from the Netherlands. A lovely time was spent playing on the beach, fishing, and dining at Caleb's favourite eatery. ... of the performance. All 3 ( a guitarist, a percussionist and the singer) were very versatile and were able to make it sound like there was a small orchestra. We also enjoyed the romancing between some of the local youth which as is the case all over the world did not see eye to eye about the attentions of the boys.
All in all a most enjoyable ...
