Lived up to the hype
... The crew cooked us a great beach BBQ of pork, chicken and prawns while we relaxed at a small beach on one of the islands. The only sad part is all of the broken coral on the sandy bottom and washing up on shore. This is due to all of these little boats anchoring at each beach everyday and people walking where ever they want.
One night we went to a restaurant called the Curry House. It was fabulous and we had to go back a few nights later. The lady who served us the first day ...

We had dinner with the lovely Polish couple who we met in Coron and a couple of guys from Amsterdam who were about to head off the next day to spend a couple of nightscamping on a deserted island. We joined ...
Finally! The Underground River!
When we started researching the Philippines, the first thing that caught my eye was the Puerto Princesa Underground River on Palawan Island. Because of this, I started looking more into Palawan and what was on offer there and then discovered that it is the less travelled and less touristy island. This, of course, is very much my cup of tea and Christine was keen too so we decided to make it the only island we would visit ...
