Pyr Marbella was a great hotel for the price. The location was fab. Great restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The pool was nice even though it was too cold to get in during our stay. It looked great from our room. Very clean.

Stayed Feb 2005 for 80 Euros per night. Second time I have stayed. On a main but not too busy road. Underground parking (essential here). A short walk from the marina and so an ideal location if you don't want to pay double the price. I found staff ok, helpful. Rooms adequate, in room safe, balcony facing the sun, but there are no significant views. Pool area nice but next to the busy motorway with significant traffic noise. A hotel to stay in if visiting to play golf or if in Puerto Banus to "go out on the town" at the marina, but not for a long stay. In summary, ideal location, rooms fine, parking good, price good, would stay again.

The town itself is lovely but the PYR apartments are not. Not very clean but my main gripe is the staff-it appears they are trained to be very rude and most unhelpful.

had a fantastic stay here, for the price we paid the accommodation was great. very clean, the maids came in every day with clean towels and left the place spotless. the situation is brilliant, handy for everything, only complaint is that it is close to a motorway and at times was a little noisy with the traffic but i would not hesitate to use this hotel agin as the price was great.

Very nice by European standards. Always clean, nice marble through the hotel. Kitchen is functional and useful with the largest grocery that I have ever seen just 1 block away. The breakfast never changes, but a large selection of brunch items. The hot food was always hot and fresh.Right on the bus stop to get to Marbella. This hotel cost us $300 less per person than the people in our group that stayed at the Merimont in Marbella. The hotel staff went to extremes to see to our needs. When an unexpected cool spell hit, the management sent us a room heater.

The rooms are large, airy and clean -- good for unwinding after a day at the beach. The location provides easy access to the beach and the Puerto Banus scene, but you'll need a car if you want to see more of Marbella, including non-vacationers. Although the staff spoke English, I didn't find them helpful at all. I didn't care for the spring break atmosphere in the lobby, but maybe that's just common to all hotels in Puerto Banus.

stayed here may 2003. Excellent location in Peurto Banus. Good size rooms with little kitchen.-very convenient as Hipercor (huge grocery store next door). Very noisy as on main hwy. Our room was clean enough but had a BAD smell. just smelled old although the room itself had obviously been remodeled in the not too distant past. service was whatever.

The PYR, has an excellent location a short wlak (5-7mins) to the wonderful Puerto Banus. The room and the hotel was very clean, although very basic. The staff was polite, although not very warm. There was a good size bar and the breakfast was adequate.

A good buy, due to its excellent location and the fact you can easily walk to the fantastic restaurants at the port.

The Pyr Hotel is so centrally located you won't believe. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and speak several languages. There are two bars - one serving breakfast until approx. 11.30 am every morning and lunch in the afternoons. The Golf Bar opens until 3.30am!

If I were to make one negative comment about this hotel, it would be that the main road is quite nearby and therefore it can be very noisy - if you can request a poolside apartment which we did you'll find it to be much quieter.

That said there isn't really anything else I can say except that if your'e looking for a reasonably priced hotel, that is comfortable, clean and well maintained and most importantly very centrally located then this is the hotel for you. Also that fact they are apartments within a hotel means you have all the security/reception benefits of a hotel but also the luxury of being able to cook lunch or have breakfast within your apartment.
