8 km walk from walk Magemo to Tsumago.

The guide book and the tourist information centre told me that it would take 3hours to walk it.
However I only had 2, as I got up way to late to actually do this walk. What can I say i did it in 1 1/2 hours :)

Rock'n Roll!!!! found the coolest little coffee shop in Tsumago.

... walked around the rim of the crater for beautiful views of the mountains, Izu Islands and the city of Ito below. I highly recommend this little detour . We had a picnic at the beach on the way back, then a swim when we returned to Shirahama beach. A lovely relaxing day we even got s little bit of colour from the sun. This has been our first day without rain here in Japan! :) :) ...

We chilled out reading books this morning while it was pouring rain it was enjoyably relaxing. The rain started to ease off about 10 and we set off for a drive around the coastline of the Izu peninsula. It's not very far, just as well as the speed limit is 40 or 50km throughout the region.
