... the ground seemed to move. The whole beach was carpeted with 1cm big crabs that as soon as you took a step would run back to their little holes that they had carved out of the sand. We decided to go exploring so followed the beach around towards our hotel. It was low tide so we found ourselves sitting on a rock which would otherwise be in the middle of the sea, watching crabs and locals fishing and enjoying the view. After my close encounters yesterday morning followed by a total failure to spot any more monkeys today we have a plan. We think the sun rises before 7 am, so I set the alarm for 6 working under the assumption that all the monkeys will be wide awake, looking for breakfast and might decide to pop in and say hello.
