So we managed to get a car hire sorted! A huge 7 seater automatic beast! We drove through Kuah then headed North-East for the stunning Tajung Rhu beach which requires a signature to enter! Shame it started raining as we got there, but ducked into shelter and had some lunch until the rain died down. We lay on the beach for a while then decided to drive across the island to a view point. ... Arches before going for a wander around. The next day we hired a car as way to see the island. The first stop was Pantai Kok - cue lots of immature laughing from us - before we headed up to the island's cable car which is apparently the steepest in the world. However, lady luck was not batting in our favour and when we reached the top it was just a blanket of mist with no view. ... in amongst the cloud, this actually lent an air of mysticism to it all. After taking it all in, and not feeling the urge to get a henna tattoo, we clambered into the next available carriage. With only thickening cloud plus more food and drink stalls to greet us at the top, we decided to remain en route until reaching the ground once more.
