So here we are, arriving to one of themost romantic cities in all of India.....what a let down. The palace that backed our guest house is gorgeouse, but the city is big, load and dusty, not quite romantic.

After spending a few days wandering around we are ready to get a move on, the beach is getting closer and so is my birthday.

Pushkar is a small town with only 15,000 people, but it is a prominent Hindu pilgrimage town and devout Hindus should visit at least once in their lifetime. Pushkar Lake is the centre of the town, and was apparently created when Brahma dropped a lotus flower, which if you're a Hindu makes this place a pretty big deal.
