      In Kuta I was finally glad to see tourists, shops and hustle and bustle...despite Kuta's reputation of being tacky; I quite welcomed it after two weeks alone in Sumatra! I met a Canadian girl in my hostel called Nicole, who introduced me to a group she had joined up with; Kelly, Sean and Nathan from Birmingham. They were young, friendly and a sight for sore eyes.
