The house was due to be ready a couple of months ago but predictably things are running late and they are expecting to be in sometime in May. Nothing done today except a late dog walk around Derwent Dam - of Dambuster fame, trying to dodge the rain.

We forgot the dogs collars and leads so had to put the pooch in a bag!

Failed to avoid the rain so Chris had to put my hat on - dandy!

    Hopefully Castleton ...

    Hi again,

Well here we are at the start of a new year. Ann, Andy and I are all suffering from either a chest or throat infection. We definitely need a good sharp cold spell to get rid of all these bugs. We have been quite busy stocking up with essential purchases for our return to France, from storage cupboards through fruit presses to frames and pictures. Many courtesy of Sheffield Auction Galleries fortnightly sales of collectables. Purely by accident I bought ...
