We ventured outside of town to the Waitangi Golf Club on Friday. It would rate as one of the nicest courses we have ever played in New Zealand. ... this one took more like 30 minutes and ended at the second largest living tree in New Zealand. The trees girth is 16.41metres and it's wide grey corse texture illuminated in sunlight stood out against the greenery. It was massive and very impressive, it actually takes you by surprise as you come around the corner, I stopped in my tracks and almost felt like I was in the presence of a powerful entity. ... with them, it was nice!! Turns out they are doing pretty much the same trip down the coast as me! Although they are going to be in Byron bay for Christmas which was my original plan! But hopefully if all goes well il be able to meet them for New Year's Eve!! we went for a wonder in afternoon and sorted our trips out, was a bit stressful but looking forward to sunbathing ...
... to cotton on to get it taken off.. Then I saw some nice pumps that where only $5 in the sale! Bargin!! So I spent $55 on stuff that was worth about $100!!! Bonus!! I had a lovely hot ham roll for lunch with crisps, was very yummy!! I went and got pandora charms then went back to hostel and my room was full of new people!! They seem okay but one girl is really irritating!! ...
