Yeah lots of holes for mosquitos to get in
Very sexy looking if you spent the extra couple of quid a night and got the more expensive rooms

we stayed here for 3 nights in april '11. rooms are nice, clean and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. location is not the best - a bit of a walk to the beach, but close to semnyak restaurants & shopping.

... and than went back to the hotel. 22nd Today we wanted to drive to Ubud again. The weather didn't look that fantastic but we got our rain poncho with us and went for it. First we would drive to visit the Pura Taman Ayun temple which was a little of our way. The temple site is beautiful and quite different from the ones we had seen, it resembled the pagodas we had seen in Japan but than in small. Just after we had walked around and made our pictures it started raining so ...

He deposited us safely at the villa. We were treated with plumeria leis and ushered into the main room greeting Trudi the host for the week. Lemon grass ginger tea and an assortment of fresh fruit and spring rolls were waiting for us and we got a tour of our new home. Once ...

... I could not say no to another shirt or sarong. Walked on to Semenyak and had dinner at Ristorante Italian ....good wood oven pizza. Continued along the beach and walked amongst the beach bars complete with bean bags, light up tables and competing entertainment. Caught a taxi home to be greeted by concerned staff who thought we may have met misadventure due to our late homecoming (10pm!! ...

So we woke and enjoyed our usual breakfast of omelette, banana pancake and fruit. Yum.
Plan of attack was to head to Soul sisters and Tina shop for some dresses for me and across the road to Silverberry for some gifts for friends for their birthdays during the year.
Then up to Bintang for our stock up of body lotions, Bali soaps, wash powder strips, softener strips, Christmas cards, sensodyne and stuff from the chemist such as silver band aides ...

... but as I am short of time I will try and keep it short. At midnight we joined two Italian boys in the bus and reached the bottom of the mountain where we met our guide...who spoke barely any English...great. He steamed off ahead, never asked if the pace was ok, we struggled to keep up. The incline was steep, and we battled tree roots and loose rock with only a torch to lead the way. I'm not sure what I was running on at that time in the morning, but something kept me ...
