    ... bar and ordered Vino. I can actually order beer and wine in three different languages now, I'm a multi-linguist.

    Once the rain had slowed enough we walked back to the hotel to put the feet up for a bit.

    Wandered just down the road for dinner at a nearby Ristorante.

    Off to Levanto and Cinque Terre tomorrow.

    Au Revoir Nice, back on the train again today, stay was too short. Train travel has been very easy and enjoyable so far apart from that one leg where it was very hot and stuffy.

    Catch the Train from Nice Ville to Genova Piazza Principe on the Trenitalia Thello, had four seats to ourselves for most of the way. Travelled through Monte Carlo, San Remo and all along the coast to Genoa.

    ... was called the NH Marina, so check it out if you're planning to go to Genoa, which you should do, because it's a great city. Genoa is loaded with churches, palaces, shopping, and lots of great places to eat. One of the first shops we stumbled into was a little salumeria, where we successfully negotiated all in Italian to buy 100 grams of mortadella.     ... her pointing to the menu and saying 'non' a few times. But resentfully paid it. She winged so much about it I ended up forking out a €2 coin to shut her up. It wasn't untill the end of our beverages a English speaking waitress informed is that the buffet was available for us, the €7 beer didn't seem so bad afterall.
