... worried, saying the road was closed due to fires, but not to worry just get in the car. There was something about the town Jean wanted to be dropped off at, just past Amalfi but right on the way, that the driver wasn't comfortable with. So we got in the car and started driving. It's about two hours before you even get to the beginning of the Amalfi Coast drive in Salerno. We arrived in Salerno and immediately the scenery was spectacular!! things ...

Our tour director, Rubin, is a top bloke. We spent a couple of hours chatting to him in the bar at Sorrento and it was great to get to know him away from the tour group. He is full of energy, very passionate about classical history and also passionate about his job, this passion really came to the fore while we were in Italy as he loves this place, he would be brilliant in Spain, his homeland. He told us about a tour he has been developing and hopes to convince cosmos to do. It ...

We left London at 4 am by taxi for Stansted airport, we arrived at Naples on time before 10 am but Antonio, the driver who was supposed to pick us up was half an hour late. He did apologize and he gave us a good running commentary about the places we passed; He also took us on a longer scenic route and to the supermarket ...
