Back at the campsite we planned our next destination – the mountains.

After tea we walked down to the beach to watch the extraordinary sunset. The sky was coloured hot pink and amethyst, perfectly silhouetting the jagged Amalfi coast in the distance. John tried taking photos but just couldn’t capture the intensity of colour (I didn’t bother because I have enough "doesn’t do it justice" sunset pictures already!) ...

We then visited Villa San Michele, the former home of Swedish philosopher, writer and professor, Axel Munthe. Wow, what a beautiful villa and gardens. The views are just superb. Such a peaceful place.

We decided we could definitely live there, or at least ...

... couldn't work out how to use the public phone so we decided to walk. It can't be that far. It's starting to get dark and we get to a crossroad and can't work out which way to go and around the corner comes the driver. Was so funny like something out of the movies. We have an early night tonight so we can enjoy the " honeymoon suite" lol Goodbye and goodnight Shopping biscuits Driver picked us up got ...
