Public transport is ******* disgraceful and so confusing! Directions from locals trying to help were even worse. Finally made it to the station and towards Pompeii.. After walking around for a while we finally found the bloody place and audio guides to use. It was a pretty cool little city but I was hoping to see more artefacts and body's frozen in time. ... all true. Then back in the little orange bus down to the harbour. We had coffee in a cafe right on the beach where Tim had a swim, the beaches are stony but the wateris a beautiful blue. Back on the boat and off to the green grotto where we all had a swim off the back of the boat the water was warm and clear lovely. ... section which we were taken to there were plaster moulds of the gaps which had remains of human bodies, the end result of these plaster moulds are the statues/casts of people who had died in the disaster and their exact position when they died.
