Life is sweet ... Had the best nights sleep ...Lainey had sinus problems ...so maybe that stopped her snoring the house down ... The girls are leaving today and there bags get picked up by a porter as there is no way the can get down ...with all those bags !! It was enough with three of us just taking their hand luggage ...hope there's room on this boat for all there gear ...We head off ..dangerous ...road way ...shops ...

Yesterday we caught a fast jet boat across to Capri for a quick two day visit. The boat, one of many that travel to Capri each day from Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast or Naples, holds about 400 people and it was absolutely packed (and we caught the 8am one in the hopes of missing the hoards!). ... and the heavens opened to a downpour. She was a little later than expected, so we had been standing in the pouring rain by a statue of GG Bellis for 45 minutes when she rounded the corner. Jodie was so happy to see Zoë, that as she rushed to step off the curb, she lost her footing and landed in a puddle. She broke her umbrella, bruised her hip and was soaking wet but no less delighted to see her daughter! The three new arrivals recovered amazingly ...

Woke up to another rainy day, went ahead and met the 3 others who I said I would meet down at Marina Piccola. It is actually much larger than Marina Grande, I mentioned that one a couple of days ago, everyone has their umbrellas out and using them, so it's a small adventure maneuvering down the narrow sidewalks with all of them open!

Found the others and we discussed options for the day, supposedly ...
