... The car is a Peugot station wagon, we've managed to cram all our cases in without much room to spare, the car is smaller, but so much more comfortable for everyone. Because both Pete and Jo are prone to car sickness we've relegated them to the driving and co pilot!! We had the help of Sonia our Nat Sav to assist with directions, she is worth her weight in gold. Tomorrow we are going to visit the city Split. There are a lot of ancient Roman reminents left there. That should be interesting.

The water is amazingly clear because there is no sand, only rocks ranging from gravel-size to about a foot in diameter. I am so glad I bought my water shoes yesterday. After easing into the cool water, Igor and I finally take to plunge and submerge ourselves. No matter how hot we were lying on the beach; we don’t feel ...

... top but Kerst maintains that she doesn't know where it takes off from and so we finish up walking to the top. That is after doing 2 flights of stairs this morning. Great holiday! We look around the castle,, the Kolo wheel is very impressive and then we make our way back down the mountain. We wander around the market and buy some souvenirs before meeting the others for lunch. Again it is a beautiful venue and we share a platter of cold meat ...
