der holdte lige nedenfor hvor vi sad og spiste og ambulancefolk og personale
var i gang med at lave hjertemassage på en mand. Personalet var i færd med at
holde folk væk fra området, men vi der sad på 1. sal kunne se alt hvad der
foregik. Vi forsøgte at aflede børnene, hvilket ikke var helt nemt, inden
området efter et godt stykke tid blev afspærret med et lagen. Efter endnu et

Juleaften i Caloundra
... jul i Danmark, ja lige bortset fra temperaturen
udenfor, hvor regnen stod ned. Vi spiste lækker tunmousse med ristet brød til
forret til børnenes store begejstring. Hovedretten bestod af grillede
kængurobøffer, rosti kartofler og grillede majskolber. De grillede
kængurobøffer var et hit hos alle. Det er enormt mørt og saftigt kød med en
lidt sødlig smag. Vi lod desserten vente lidt, da vi alle var godt mætte efter

Day 30 of 88: Strawberries we bid you farewell
... wwoofing our weekends counted towards our 88 days we made the decision to stick with wwoofing, in hindsight I'm sure onion picking was not for us. We rang a couple of the farms that had offered to take us, realising that the mistake we made last time, was no one had spoken with the host and soon decided on our next farm, at Avalon Tor where we would be assisting to complete the host’s art studio.

The Glass House Mountains is a large national park, There are 12 main mountains which are surrounded by woodland. The three main mountains are Beerwah, Coonowrin, and Tibrogargan. A majority of the trees in the park are very tall thin pine trees and it is very much what I would imagine Canada to be like.

... for tea first on the Southbank which is an area next to the river which has a fantastic atmosphere - there are lots of cool little bars and a large grass areas where people were chilling drinking wine and having bbq's. The council provides big bbq's in public areas free of charge. I had never seen a laser show before and it was so clever ... The lasers were projected onto the skyscapers and the river to music.
