Arriving to China
After a nine hour flight we landed into what feels like 40 degrees with 80 percent humidity. Nice... .
Took us over 2 hours to get to the hotel:
Shuttle bus from Capital airpot to Xidan - 1.5 hours (traffic.........).
Underground - 9 stations on line 1 (Baboshan station).
Half a mile of walking from the station to the hotel.
Wow …

15:00 update.
Well, a new day has risen over Beijing and we're staying in today - relaxing due to some strained muscles.
Had breakfast (ordinary, not as special as we hoped it'd be), got back to bed for 2 hours, and currently in the executive lounge, Interneting, drinking and relaxing.
Later on, we'll go to the nearest supermarket, cafe …

20:30 update.
After almost avacuating Ami to a hospital last night (we thought he had a small fracture in his left foot), I suggested to try and change his posture a bit, and amazingly enough - it worked!
Today we managed to walk apx. 22000 steps withough almost any stress at all. :)
We started our day "early" and left the hotel at noon …
Last day in Beijing

Good morning Beijing! :)
Last night we decided not to include The Great Wall in our trip and to take our last day in Beijing easy.
So, what we've planned for today is go out to Beihai Park, visit an architecture museum and go to a local theme park.

A glutinous weekend
... Quite a few of us went from there to the birthday party, which didn't start until 10pm. We got there around 11.30pm, and I was thinking I'm crazy, there is no way in the UK I'd be actually GOING to a party at that time, making my excuses to leave & go to bed, definitely!! It was a cool party, and lots of people were very glamorously dressed in 1920's gear, I had my token feather boa which didn't win any prizes!! Ha ha!! Some cool music, from Chicago for example, then later ...
