Wednesday night we went to Romeos (Ossotel restaurant) for cocktails and dinner, and listened to a great band and watched a fire thrower do his thing.

We managed to catch up with Kaz and Steve again on Thursday night as their flights had been cancelled. Drinks and dinner at Capil ...

That way we could fully experience the myriad fine restaurants we were too ill equipped to visit rather than living off pots of pasta and Family Mart ready meals. Our daughter who seems to have been blessed with smooth feet.......heads down the road to have a uni graduation photo put on to a canvas, it's 60cm x 40cm and took 10 minutes to do from her phone and cost $7.50. Looks amazing.

Bali, at last! Specifically, Ubud in the east of Bali. I arrived at night and to be honest it didn't look much different from any other tourist trap, whether it be Lloret, Salou or Torremolinos. The streets (well, the main drag, anyway) was teeming with tourists with dozens of bars, bar-restaurants and restaurants catering for them. I was not that impressed. Nevertheless, after getting my room, which admittedly ...
