... and feeling young again as we remembered the past. After the sun started to set, we went back to the cabin and sat on the balcony to watch the colours stream through the sky...the light clouds providing an amazing canvas for the reds, purples, oranges and yellows streaking through as the sun headed down. A few ciders later, and we were ready for some dinner - a local Thai place caught our fancy and I was delighted to find that the Pad Thai was made with ...
... we could go to Lone Pine the Koala Sanctuary. We got the bus there and got to see a bit more of Brisbane - they still have Woolworths here! When we arrived the first thing that struck us was the amount of bloody lizards everywhere. Just all over the paths. You couldn't walk more than a few metres without the things just running in front of you. Not small either about a foot long. We saw a duck billed platypus and my ...

Mediocre is the word that comes to mind. Outside of its location (just across from King George Square and the mall,) there is not much to squawk about at the Sebel or Citigate. The front desk has been fantastic so my major gripe is really about the internet. There is no wi-fi in the rooms, ethernet only, they charge for each device connected, the service is slow and intermittent for a whopping $30 per day. Keep the price, improve the service! Otherwise, the Sebel is clean and courteous.
