    I need to mark Basel on the map & would also like to say to anyone reading this that might be planning a trip to the area, we stayed at The Passage hotel - it was EXCELLENT ! and I would highly recommend it; awesome shower, big rooms, comfy bed, mini fridge (if you can afford that sort of thing), a fantastic gym downstairs, and just a hop, skip, and jump away from anything and everything you could possibly want. ...

    ... farms all the way to the top. The cows were out enjoying the sweet summer grass, and they really do have bells around their necks. And there were meadow flowers, all along beside the track and in the fields.

    We didn't have as long at the summit as we had planned, but the views were spectacular. We climbed up to the ridge top, and the air was crisp and still, silent except for the sound of cow bells. Perfect.
