... than listening to western pop music played at ear-shredding volume until well past midnight ( who doesn't) During the daytime, after a gaggle of lovely Malaysian cleaning ladies have polished the floor, cleaned the bathroom and done the washing up, we spend a long time just standing about and revelling in the space and the quiet. ... the place I was intending to stay didn't work out. Labuan has TONS of hotels so I knew that at the very least I would have somewhere to stay. I treated myself to a cold beer in the little beach bar before leaving at the end of the day. Bako National Park was on my hit list so I had to find a cheaper way to visit it. The agencies were charging ...

... my birthday....all in all a good night with a really good group of people. It's been really nice to have a few other elective students here and get to become really good friends. I've heard of some places having loads of students and others being stuck on their own so we've ended up with a really good balance. After a stop off at KFC on the way home we got back to the hotel at 4, looking forward to the lie in in the ...
