... than listening to western pop music played at ear-shredding volume until well past midnight ( who doesn't) During the daytime, after a gaggle of lovely Malaysian cleaning ladies have polished the floor, cleaned the bathroom and done the washing up, we spend a long time just standing about and revelling in the space and the quiet. ... the place I was intending to stay didn't work out. Labuan has TONS of hotels so I knew that at the very least I would have somewhere to stay. One of the girls that I asked for help worked at a yogurt shop that just happened to have wifi and she let me use their wifi so that I could figure out where to stay. Trip advisor was giving me some ideas, although it would have been nice to be able to call and ask for prices before I decided on a place.

THE CLIMB UP MT KINABALU - We woke up in good spirits on the day of the climb. We walked to the national park and organized our guide and food for the climb up. We had started hiking by 8am. It was exciting. We got to the first stop and were high fiving but by the second stop the rain started and it just did not stop. The climb up is hard but it is ...

... 9 to sun glistening water, and as usual lovely and clear with fish swimming around the coral beneath. One of the locals from the boat company came to ask us when we would be heading back but also told us the best place for snorkelling, just past the jetty on the other side to the main area so we headed straight there. Somehow we spent the next 2 hours snorkelling around the area, with the time flying by as i saw some of the best coral I'd seen with hundreds of different ...
