Journey to the Equator

... cost 50p, quite expensive really. Things were more expensive generally in KK. The bus dropped me off at the beach and there were only a few people around, perfect! Backed by palms and big tropical trees, the beach was pretty so I spent the day swimming in the hot sea and sitting reading my Kindle (best gift ever) under a big tree to offer the well needed shade. I had a beef and noodle stir fry and we shared some pork dim sum and a minced meat pancake thing, all of which was delicious and came to a fiver each. Then back to the hotel for an early night, still can't get used to these 6 o clock ...
