... both in and out on our journey so far.

Picked up a local paper at this campsite, very interesting indeed. First thing of note was the write up about the storm earlier in the week, which was apparently the worst they’d had in 20 years. There was a picture of a Beach Bar in Torre del Mar which we walked past whilst they were cleaning up, Penny commented as there were girls in shorts and ...

Will judge properly after we’ve toured the old town tomorrow.

... this morning) I don't think I'm supportive of what I've seen of the Mediterranean approach to child rearing, it seems very laissez faire to me and some of the children are an absolute menace, running riot, even in the restaurant, screaming and yelling. Why the parents would allow it, is beyond me. I've checked out the shops, unlikely to purchase anything, and checked out, literally, at the library. Today is mostly book reading and sitting in the sun/shade ...

... morning we drove to an aqueduct and an old abandoned sugar mill to take our photos. The Maro Aqueduct is an interesting piece of architecture, all lines and angles, and painted in reds and yellows. We had to walk down a steep dirt road to get to it. We saw some of the homeless people that Kevan says make shelters in the caves around there. One of the pictures I took was of a darkly shaded area down in some trees and bushes.
