... there are five nearby! I'm happy to look at the beach, swim in the sea and enjoy more peaceful nights now Signor and Signora are upstairs!

The three of us walk to a local bar and reflect on the five months that we have spent on the road. Highlights for Señor y Señora are Lago D'Orta in late August and The Camargue in late September early October. For me, it's Lago Viverone where I was adored by all the Italians!!

... as we set out since we are now completely lost. Unfortunately, strategy, planning and transport haven't been communicating. It's a cock up. Señora eventually gets out the directions, much to Senor's disgust and anger, "you should have had those out when we started". One gives directions off the A7 another off the AP7 both are misleading. Señor says "you're head of strategy and planning, where are we?" Señora can't read a map to save her life, but thinks its off the AP-7. ...

Today we left Oliva and are heading for Granada. But rather than a 5 hour drive we thought we 'd stop off at Aguilas on the way. It is recommended in the "Rough Guide " as one of the best beaches in Spain. Well when we arrived it was raining . It apparently has 320 days of sunshine a year here but today and apparently tomorrow it is set for rain and cool at 18-20 . Almerimar, Granada and seaside commune

... 25E from a guy at the pub and went off to Granada for the day. The place is so popular we had to buy the tickets 3 weeks previously and hope that we could get there ok. Heather had spotted the van for hire and told us about it. Otherwise it meant hiring a car for 3 days at 135€. It was an easy drive along the motorways to Granada and then signs to the Alhambra Palace.

We spent a wonderful afternoon and evening in the grounds of this fabulous world ...

... the Museo Nacional de Arqueologia Maritima, an impressive modern building housing displays of how they have explored and preserved the many wrecks around this coast from Phoenician sailing boats to stately galleons. Of course that is the reason why we have seen so many diving schools and clubs around Isla Plana and La Azohia. There is a huge concentration of wrecks around here. As a reward, old wrecks ...
