The days I did not work the past summer, I spent most of my days off at the beaches in El puerto de Mazzaron. There are many beaches with different features. Some beaches have better scenery, bars on the beach, bigger waves, deeper water, and rentals for the water such as paddle boats.

... as a Port Angeles morning after a heavy rain. Walking along the broad marble pedestrian paseo led us to fountains that were quiet, but the clear shallow water in them held a promise of grand displays later in the day.
