... crazy city that is Rio.

We had organised a transfer to our hotel from the airport as we had no idea how easy it would be to get around the city. We’re also going on another tour with Intrepid and figured if there were any changes to the hotel meeting point it would be safer to have them arrange a few things on our behalf. I was furious with STA. I was now extremely emotional and exhausted. I went out to get some food as I hadn't eaten since 10.30 that morning. I then got ripped off and spent £10 for some chicken 2 beers and a coke. By this point when I worked it out I just didn't care. I drunk my beers ate the ...

... evening and we had no place else to go! So we signed the contract and moved in.
There is no WiFi at the apartment so we walked until we found a tourist information center where we were told we could use the WiFi at the Starbucks in the Mall about 15 minutes away. So we walked the long walk in the hot Brazilian sun to "Shopping Rio Sul", found the Starbucks and paid way too much for a ham and cheese croissant and a bottle of water so we could use ...
