... I was thinking , he is going to poop, and sure enough all of a sudden pooo just shoots out and almost gets us ! We could not stop laughing though lol. Finally our food got there and Allison and I had decided to get a croc roll and an ostrich roll then split them so we could try both. Ostrich tastes a lot like beef surprisingly and crocodile had a texture and taste that is in between fish and chicken I felt like. After lunch ...
George, Western Cape, South Africa nicolejohnson... with all of you. It’s quite humorous because I am so freaked out. Once everyone was done at the gift shop it was back to the bus and a few more hours to our next hotel, the Carmel Christian Holiday and Conference Center. They have all the guests eat meals at the same time so we were kind of pushing to be back on time for dinner. Fortunately we made it in time and dinner was delicious! The rooms are awesome and the view unbelievable. We were ...

... wind. The caddies were really helpful in these conditions.
South Africa seems to be feeling the pinch along with so many other countries and all the courses were exceptionally quiet. We were 2 of only 22 golfers playing the Links course on Sunday. The hotel was also very quiet. This early in the summer season and I think that everyone hopes that things will pick up soon, The lady working in the golf shop looses ...
... this trip but people told us it was amazing to do. I still want to swim in the ocean when I get home. The baz bus picked us up around 1.30pm and we drove along the farming areas and green forests towards Knysna. We stayed in Knysna at Island Vibe Backpackers. This is a larger town and again very much seaside holiday style town. It was pm when we got in and our room was great with a TV so we had a night in ...
Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa kasnsqueak... proper time to consult medical attention. Thank goodness for the advice of a trusted friend in Ottawa and the e-mail system, we did get XDude checked out by a doctor, who by the way was excellent, spoke French and had my nephew's name (good karma). We all climbed into the car, soon to be re-named the "Ark" as the rain had not stopped thundering on us for the last 48 hours. In Dr. Olivier's examining room, the "M" word came into the conversation (Fear ...
Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa arewethere.yet... bakery, fish market, travel agency. THe seafood soup was delicious and the oysters damn fine as well - as they should be, they were fished straight out of the lagoon. And if you get the chance, try the De Waal Viognier 2003 - 80 Rand well spent. Some nice scenery on the way out in the morning, and even nicer scenery on the road through Wilderness... sadly, nowhere to stop. And from here, it's back inland...
Knysna, South Africa whiteant... seal decoy called Mugabi. The company is Dive SA and is run by a gent called Roy, be sure to book up early tho its always full. We didn't see get to dive with the sharks on our first outing so were invited back for a second time, can't say fairer than that. On our second visit we stayed at the Green Point hotel and it was amazing, cheap and friendly. great view and balcony. If your doing SA do Mossel Bay!!!!!!
Mossel Bay, South Africa p3dro... I thought that it might not last me too long and that probably wouldn't be great for my system. In the end, we purchased a couple of their reds to take along with us. We took it very easy for the rest of the day, made ourselves dinner, took some time to continue to catch up on our travel log, and just relaxed. We headed to bed early as we planned to head to the ostrich farm early in the morning before having to catch the Baz Bus shuttle at 12:30. September 28 - Wilderness Gerald and I ...
