... felt cold and heavy and I was struggling to find a steady pace. After about the 65 km mark, I finally started getting my legs moving, I started feeling good again, it almost felt like my joints had just gotten greased. A very long downhill stretch started, perfect timing. I kept my body loose, and let me body work with gravity, my strides started getting longer and my legs started lifting higher, I started getting faster and faster. I can already see the next month becoming a blur, the year is rapidly coming to an end and along with the usual day to day projects we do, there's the "end of year" things, like anywhere, mind you I don't miss my normal life of just arriving to these things and not having to actually organise and run them all :)

... meeting, the boys have been able to see friends each week and go to Sunday School which they love. It's been such a refreshing change to be at Westville too. Margate is small and intimate and feels like a little family but also replies heavily on us to run things, Westville is not at all small and with an ecclesia made up of so many eager members teaching Sunday School and speaking and running everything it has been nice to just be part of it all ...

I hear the phrase "Extended Ecclesial Family" a lot. And i get it, we walk into different meetings and we're welcomed in like extended family, wether it be within Melbourne or in another state. I was recently in Brisbane and visited an Ecclesia I had never been before and yet was loving welcomed in and could feel the effects of our Extended Ecclesial family. We also grow up knowing that the joy of having this type of "Family" ...
