Durban Durban Durban Rain Rain Rain

A travel blog entry by phillipsquared on Dec 08, 2013

So as you may have guessed by the title Durban hasn't quite exactly been the sunny tropic town it normally is - it has been raining constantly since we arrived here and it has been cold. So much for getting a tan and fitting in with the locals when we arrive in Venezuela! But besides that i have managed to catch up with ...

I can already see the next month becoming a blur, the year is rapidly coming to an end and along with the usual day to day projects we do, there's the "end of year" things, like anywhere, mind you I don't miss my normal life of just arriving to these things and not having to actually organise and run them all :)

I was recently in Brisbane and visited an Ecclesia I had never been before and yet was loving welcomed in and could feel the effects of our Extended Ecclesial family. We also grow up knowing that the joy of having this type of "Family" ...

Today I went to the Mariannhill Ecclesia. Just the drive there makes you appreciate the house you have, the place you live and how easy it is for us to get to our ecclesial halls. The drive up the hill was breathtaking but breathtaking meaning ive never seen anything like it in my life. I was just overwhelmed by the way these people live and yet many still smile and wave as you pass them by. Then you arrive at the Hall and there is a creche run monday to fridays. Now i ...
