... Brown 1 left quickly followed by Brown 2. Yay – room for Green 5. We saw Monique and Claude and luckily they got the same bus as us. Soon enough we disembarked and reached our bus. Day 4 started very early with some tired faces appearing in the court yard of the guesthouse. We decided to skip breakfast in Bethlehem and stop over at one of Alex's contacts in Clarence for breakfast. Glen decided not to join us on that leg of the trip and head back to Johannesburg straight from Bethlehem. Being one of the "older" members, he also decided to sleep in, so we didn’t see him bright and breezy that morning.

    Bruce started the day ...

I arrived at OR Tambo in huge storm and congratulations to tne Mango pilot who managed to keep it all together and land the plane in those conditions. Soon after being picked up at the airport, I was reunited with the 1200 Explorer. What a pretty sight. Gen cleaned it and had it polished!

Well the evening brought a lot more rain and we were very sceptical about the next day's ride, however, when we woke up it was overcast but dry.

We left Edenvale at 5:45 to ...
