    ... now to rally the Renegades for a brand new year.

    I did need to come here though. I guess I needed to go half way across the world to appreciate my life and the people in it and the work I do so much more. Thank you to my family. Thank you mum.     Fresh off an 8 hour flight from Dubai, we arrived in Johannesburg around 11am and were met at the airport by Brad and Leilani, who had arrived the day before. If there's one thing you need to know about Johannesburg, it's that the whole city is in a soccer (football) frenzy. Roads, stadiums, and public transport are being built with the deadline for World Cup looming large. We picked up our (pretty new) Hyundai van, which seats 9, and headed to our hotel ...
