... anyway. But you can affect one person. And that person will affect one person. And that person will affect another.

The domino effect.

Start small. The effects will grow.

The ripple effect.

This photo was taken in Sudan. In Africa. Far away from you.

Yet it affects all of us.

In our show we sing a song called, "What's Happening To You Is Happening To Me".

Architect Your Life

... is what I really wanted to write about today. His workshop really made me think long and hard about my life and my future.

It was about where we (as Cast B 2009) think that we will be in 20 years. Well I can't say for sure what I was thinking about 20 years ago but I'm sure my parents didn't think that I'd be in Denmark right now.

In fact, they probably didn't even imagine how talented, gorgeous, smart and amazing I'd turn out to be! ;)

... to the central square where we had been on our previous visit 2 weeks ago. On that ocassion the weather had been rubbish so this time we got a good impression. We will definitely come back for a city break visit!
Just before leaving at 1pm we grabbed an awesome sandwich at this little backstreet shop (I had a bacon club & Lizzie had this freshly prepared salad roll on brown bread with an avocado mayonnaise which she thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed). It was ...

Viking Denmark

... the birth of the nation of Denmark. Of course squeezed in LegoLand which is done very well. Folke Ferie house/bungalow in the beach woods at the Middelfart Kursus centre by the fiord overlooking the island of Faeno was very pleasant for kids to play & walk. Overall recommend this little country with a big heart to other travellers with children who want a piece of living history & a relaxed time.

The first flight

Stayed in Aarhus as our sleep over stop, mainly becasue Billund has no hostels! Didn't do anything on our night there, as it had taken us about 8 hours to make it there from Berlin, many change overs on trains!

Went to Legoland on the second day. It was ace! Though many children running around, & they seem to think that Criel as an amazing city in Scotland. We eventually got water rides, something whcih we have been looking for since we started!

... and well informed.

Even though we liked the museum we were ready to move on to the town of Ribe, which is the oldest town in Denmark and also had a hostel and an island near it which appealed to us. The hostel had room for us and we learned it’s been voted one of the top 10 hostels in the world. We could see why. It was very clean, had a nice shared kitchen, had a laundry (that took ...

Being a Kid Again at Legoland!

... The lines were also inventive since they had lego building stations that the children could play in while their parents went through the lines.

The parks was also dog friendly and we saw so many cute dogs walking around!!  There were even drinking stations set up by dogs made of legos.

Fun fact: Cotton candy in Denmark is called "Candy Floss."

We ate at a traditional Danish buffet for dinner that ...

... their arms or had purchased armbands that listed the names of their parents and contact info. They had more supervision than I had noticed in Copenhagen but the lack of leashes was reflective of the Danish culture. Further, Lego play stations were located in the midst of the lines so that the children could occupy themselves while their parents made their way through the ride line.

There was also more freedom in the ride lines – at ...

Legoland!

... the stuff made out of legos. There's a huge lego village when you first walk in. We visited Hollywood, Japan, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and lots of other places. They even had the fancy colored houses from the pictures. The park also had all the requisite theme rides and areas including a medieval area and an Old West area, which in true Danish fashion, was in no way politically correct. In one area, a ...

... a ride that involved you racing against other fire trucks to drive your fire truck to the wall of flames and then you pump water into a targeted hole, then once the fire was out you race back to the fire station. Yeah it was my 'Survivor challenge obsessed' personality that made me want to show these others kiddy teams, who the 'Fire man'....yeah bad joke, oh well. But unfortunately at first Lars was like 'yeah if I go on that ride, it will ruin my rep' but I think the ...
