      In Rawlins we met a cowboy who was 113 years old. He was the oldest person ive ever met. he would just sit there and smoke a pipe the whole time. He was old and frail and needed help unloading his truck so i helped him and he paid me $60. I stayed at Rawlins KOA

      ... climb and a couple of miles later Matt realised that the tracker had conked out without any warning. Hopefully it has captured most of today's route. The threat of Grizzlies has been replaced by the desert heat and lack of water. Water on this section of the route is extremely scarce. We stopped for lunch at Pine Creek which turned out to be dry.       ... Washakie to visit the Sacagewia cemetery. The children remembered learning about her travels with Lewis and Clark in the 5th grade so we thought it was an important stop. The cemetery was brightly decorated with flowers and wreaths. There were bed frames used, not sure if there is meaning there I'll need to look that up.       ... road for a decent stay. Honey decided neither of those were an option, you see, he wanted to drive 2 more hours. Alrighty than...truck stop here we come!! Honestly, it really doesn't make much of a difference to me on this leg of the journey anyhow. We just need a place to park for 10-12 hours to eat some dinner, have a nightcap and jump in our comfy bed..than do it all over again in the a.m. I have a fan that I like to use at night to drown out the trucks ...
