Hope everyone is well!
We arrived in Belo Horizonte, state of Minas Gerais from Rio after a LONG 9 hour bus journey, however the reclining leather seats made it a bit easier to endure !
When we arrived here we went to a local restaurant and sampled the local drink- "Capriana" and a meat plate recommended by a very friendly waitor- both turned out to be delicious!!
I woke up craving ridiculous amounts of meat today so I organised with Deborah and her friends to meet at a churrascaria in the north of the city. They have a programme that everyone seems to use here called "A,B,C" which basically categorises Chest and Triceps, Back ...
... we chose Belo Horizonte is that it seemed to be the one city in Brazil that offered everything we wanted. It is a city with a strong identity that is both regional and also typical of Brazil as a whole. It has a rich colonial history that can be seen throughout the city and the surrounding towns. It is a fantastic place for culture, with more museums, galleries, theatres and art centres than would seem warranted for a place of its size. It is Brazil's third ...
