    ... style was basically the same here in Brazil as it was in the United States back then. There is a large, tall table in the corner of the dining room that is made from a huge tree branch and Jose said that they constructed the table by hand. Pictures from Christmas time show the kids sitting excitedly among the presents underneath the table, which is decorated like a Christmas tree.

    ... went on a walk through the jungle – it was incredible when we spotted with our torch a cats eyes staring at us...luckily it stayed behind the bushes! Macaws at night were also a hit – not to mention the bats darting over us! And the plastic snake thrown on the road as a prank...didn’t go down too well with some of the girls!     ... foreigner has to play the horn. So there was a competition to see who was the best... As Laura had played the trumpet in her younger years she took the mantle for England... And played quite a little tune much to everyone´s surprise and delight! See video below.
    Then to decide who wins they asked the carriage to cheer for each country. We won!

    Carried on the train through the mountains, had some really nice views.
