That evening those in the Green and Gold Army that did charity day and the guys from Lions Raw were treated to a Brazilian BBQ, drinks and games of football.

The Lions Raw guys are English and they came ready with boots and football gear.

... So many upsets, so many goals and so much more to come.

The best thing about this World Cup is being able to watch every game during the day (no waking at 2am in the winter to watch) and being around thousands of fans all yelling at the tv, constant football on everywhere you go... oh I'm in heaven!

So I'm living like a local for a little longer before making my way back to Argentina and heading home! Still have 1 month left, I'm hoping time will move slowly.....

... trying to avoid cars splashing us from the road. Stopped at the supermacardo to get supplies for a proper spag bog dinner, and from there made it home safe, happy to have not been mugged! Nadia came home from school just as dinner was ready so we all sat down together for a family meal. Was great! We all chatted away until we realised midnight, so raced to sleep to get a good 6hrs before train ...

Chapter 2 - The Master Plan

... head to Switzerland and Italy, but my planning there isn't quite complete. I just know I have to visit Rome and Naples (to see the active volcanoe Vesuvius).

After that, I'll have to find a way to get to Monaco and southern France and head up north to normandy - I just have to visit Mont San Michel.

My plans also include the UK - Brighton, Stonehenge, Edinburg, Glasgow and Ireland - Dublin, Kilkenny and Cork.

... of older buildings mixed in with newer high rises but Curitiba was different. The quiet cobbled streets, cafes and brightly coloured buildings gave it a cosmopolitan feel - there were some nice touches with an open air venue for playing music built over a residential house (the roof was tiered) and even the police had a sweet little green house in the middle of quiet tree lined park.

However, the real charm was revealed when we took the open top bus ...
