    ... which is the symbolic building of curitiba. I have seen it before, but it's pretty awesome i was happy enough to see it again.

    We navigated the bus system, pretty terribly to get home, which inevitably meant we walked half the way back. Once we arrived we cooked out $2 chicken pie that we had bought earlier and met a few more people.     ... a lake. The 'eye' is around 100m wide and 50m tall and forms a gallery space, some of which is devoted to the architectural creations of Neimeyer.     ... style was basically the same here in Brazil as it was in the United States back then. There is a large, tall table in the corner of the dining room that is made from a huge tree branch and Jose said that they constructed the table by hand. Pictures from Christmas time show the kids sitting excitedly among the presents underneath the table, which is decorated like a Christmas tree.

    Our rustic accommodation was wicked as it was a little private farm where all 16 of us slept in the same room in hammocks, the deafening sound of frogs mating, crickets and birds and god knows what else was all a part of the experience and we loved every minute of it. We really were at one with nature. Caiman's (alligators) were everywhere, a bit nerving when the track back to the main house was next to a dam which had god knows how many in there! That ...

    ... foreigner has to play the horn. So there was a competition to see who was the best... As Laura had played the trumpet in her younger years she took the mantle for England... And played quite a little tune much to everyone´s surprise and delight! See video below.
    Then to decide who wins they asked the carriage to cheer for each country. We won!

    Carried on the train through the mountains, had some really nice views.
