We walked back towards the old town through the parks as much as we could, appreciating the shade, given that it was around 34C. We needed to be back in the Old Town by 3pm for our free Jewish walking tour. After a quick stop at our hotel to fill up the water bottle, etc., we raced to the meeting point, just in time. ... claiming he has cooked for Barack Obama, but his prices were about double of some of the others restaurants. We chose a cheaper on and enjoyed a massive meal - I chose pork with sauerkraut and potatoes. Although my plate was almost empty at the end of the meal, I assure you that I did not eat the entire contents without assistance!
We shuffled back to the hotel, and again I collapsed on the bed and went to sleep within seconds. It was about 10:30pm.
Today was to be the longest of them all, with 115kms covered, to reach Warka. The ride was started early, at 8:30am, and the breakfast was had on the parking of a gas station, while the iPhone was charging on a wall plug. Not very sexy, but couldn't waste much time. We were stared at all the way up the Main Street, I kept checking I had my pants on or that there was no toilet paper hanging out the back (touch of gastro last night!). But no, all was well with our dress code, it was just that two really old people who were skinny with touring bags on bikes was an unnatural phenomenon in Central Poland! Ate our pizza out of town (couldn't cope with the staring!) and cycled off through more forest ...
