Sadly, the Memorial to the Warsaw Ghetto, where thousands of Jews were exiled while awaiting transport to the concentration camps in Poland, is as hideously ugly as 90% of the rest of the buildings in the city. But . . .

Today was to be the longest of them all, with 115kms covered, to reach Warka. The ride was started early, at 8:30am, and the breakfast was had on the parking of a gas station, while the iPhone was charging on a wall plug. Not very sexy, but couldn't waste much time. For lunch, I tried finding a restaurant, but there was none in a 50km radius ...
... there was our Hotel Sielanka, complete with horse stables, eventing rings, equestrian jumps! Oh, didn't I tell you, this is a 4**** star Hotel, a horse breeding farm and home of the Polish Equestrian Centre? No horse riding for these two, glad to be off those two bikes; they weren't the best bikes we have ridden and even though Poland is flat, all those sandy tracks were damn hard work. 45 kms AM - This is your breakfast (no choice), so if it's a cooked one and you've had gastro probably not your first choice but I found it delicious!
