... city after the bombings of WWII was both interesting and terrifying at the destruction man will do to man. Martin then went to get the car and we drove back to Schende.

We had a light supper of bread and cheese and Martin and Bentas son Nicoli came to the house. We had a great evening discussing everything from nuclear power (Martin is a Physicist) to Mechanical engineering. It was a very nice evening.

Somewhere over the Atlantic the day changed and it became the 10th. We are still on the plane from Toronto to Paris and have slept very little or not at all. We arrive in Paris at 12:25 in the afternoon , Paris time or 4:15 am Alberta time. Our flight to Hanover leaves at 6:20 so we have a long layover.
